When a young couple purchased this older home in Hollywood, Florida, they were also beginning a new chapter as first-time parents. The house was ready for a complete renovation, and the bathroom—more than 30 years old—was one of the most dated and inefficient spaces.
Instead of treating the small footprint and limited budget as constraints, we used them as an opportunity to create something bold and highly personal. The layout was reworked to improve circulation and functionality, while a rich palette of emerald-green glazed tile, charcoal finishes, warm walnut, matte black, and brushed gold brought depth, contrast, and a sense of luxury.
Every decision—from the floating vanity and lighting to the storage and fixture selection—was designed to make the room feel larger, more refined, and more intentional. The result is a compact bathroom with strong character and an immersive atmosphere, proving that thoughtful design can create a luxurious experience without an excessive budget.
