Inspired by the ocean
The Surf Condo emerges from the ocean to shelter the dynamic culture of the water sports movement. Using a symbolic interpretation of the waves and tides, this building merges both functionality and form in the same volume.

The surf condo pays homage to human’s innate connection with the natural elements and how water and wind create dynamic forms in the ocean.
This representative appropriation of the movement emphasizes the wooden surface as an envelope that characterizes the building’s facade, reminiscent of a majestic wave encompassing the gym and the penthouse restaurant areas.
On the opposite side of the semi-hermetic wooden envelope, the building opens up with breathable transparency towards the sea, emphasizing the movement of the sinuous surface and creating an open niche protective of the urban environment in an intangible barrier.
