behind the design

Allied Steel Buildings has developed a myriad of commercial and industrial applications successfully worldwide; to help them dabble into the residential arena, we were commissioned to design H1,  a modern house that offers simplicity and all the comfort of a contemporary home.

These modular houses, located in the Caribbean, were designed with the environment in mind, featuring thermic energy, solar panels, reclaimed water, active facades, and passive energy systems.

The steel panel system provides a creative tool to produce multiple design reconfigurations, allowing the client to choose different pre-made layouts over the same design line.
